A new, domestic air service will be proudly introduced by a highly competent
Chathams Pacific team with over 25 years experience in the Airline industry.

The Friendly Islands Airline,
Commence Services In Tonga April 14th 2008

New Zealand based airline company, Air Chathams, commences flights on 14 th April as the second domestic airline
for the Kingdom.  This company has over 25 years of experience in the flying industry and is currently the major
airline on the Chatham Island routes in New Zealand.

Air Chathams has previously been involved with Tonga through leasing aircraft to a previous domestic airline within
the Kingdom. Their full involvement now is only natural given their familiarity with the Kindom's domestic scene.

The Tonga operation of Air Chathams is called “Chathams Pacific”,  the schedule for the 50 seat Convair 580 aircraft
provides twice daily services to Vava'u with schedules set for easy connections with the international arrivals and
departures.

The Moorings New Zealand office is now coordinating flights and transfer bookings for our guests to/from the Tonga
International Airport and onward to Vava'u.

Managing Director, Shane Walker states “The combination of this new airline and the fact that our offices will now be
making the travel arrangements for our guests directly will greatly improve the transiting through to and from Vava'u”.
